Subject: HR25 FairTax Plan

Comment: I support this plan but do see a couple of adjustments that should be made. The Prebate of this plan should have an additional allowance for inflation. I suggest an addition of the average of the previous 3 years inflation rate. This is needed as a cushion for the poor. It is not outside most of our memories the days of double digit inflation. Plan for it to occur again.
The plan predicts price reductions on goods due to the absence of embedded taxes. I do not see how foriegn finished goods will carry the same reduction as american made goods. I think this is good because it will make american companies stronger in the market while avoiding any of the tarrif restrictions involved with the WTO membership. I do fear that it will cause a small blip on inflation in the year of initalization.
