Subject: Fair Tax

Comment: I feel that the panel did not do what was requested by the president in executive order #13369. It did not accomplish item Section a) simplify tax laws b)share the burdens and benefits and c)promote long-run economic growth and job creation. As usual the only suggestion that the panel could come up with is cut deductions for the RICH!!! and tax them more while not accomplishing any one of the afore mentioned purposes of the panel. The president requested that at least one of the panels options should use the Federal income tax as its base for recommended reforms. This implies to me that the president wanted several suggestions from the panel not just one. It appears to me that the panel did not give serious thought to the FAIR TAX H.R./S 25. It is clear to me and a whole lot of americans that this is the only tax reform that would accomplish what the president wanted to accomplish. It would be beneficial to all including the rich, middle class and the poor. By the way the poor would avoid paying taxes all together. But instead this panel just wanted to punish the rich. This panel needs to take a hard look at its self and ask if you really think you did this president and this country justice. I think you failed totally and if you had any backbone you would propose something bold like the FAIR TAX.
