Subject: Mission Statement? Comment: I'm writing today to voice my displeasure with the latest suggested so called improvements or reforms to the broken tax system. Previous statements regarding support for the "Fair Tax" NRST were promising but obviously the "Panel" has folded under pressure from "K Street" and will not do the right thing for the country by supporting the abolishment of the IRS and implementing the "Fair Tax" to fill the Treasury. The "Fair Tax" is the most progressive tax plan available. Please read the book or go to FairTax.org to become familier with the program before making a mockery of this panel. Some have said the program would be to hard to pass in Congress. We the people did not send our representitives to DC to not tackle difficult issues and not do the right thing for the country. Quite frankly We the People are getting a little dissillusioned with the pace and direction of government. Lead, Follow or Get out of the way. |
