Subject: Connie Mack Comment: I am a supporter of H.R. 25, known as the Fair Tax. In view of the comments I have read recently made by Senator Connie Mack it seems that the senator either has not read the bill or has an agenda that has nothing to do with tax reform. And if the only objection he can make is that no other country has tried such a system, he should educate him self as to this proposal. It is such positions that cause people to view politicians as serving their lobbyists and campaign contributors rather than "We The People" a.k.a. TAX PAYERS and VOTERS What is sorely needed in Washington is more leaders and fewer politicians. And comments like these only serve to confirm the view that our elected representatives could't care less about much other that getting re-elected. |
