Subject: Fair Tax & Foreign Imports Comment: Presently over 90% of our nation's income comes from taxes on workers and those that employ them. Additionaly, business also includes health insurance social security and other retirement benefits in the price of their products. Why not collect taxes on foreign goods as well. Presently imported foreign items contribute only about 4% of our income. It is really dumb in a global economy to tax only American workers and those that employ them. |
