Subject: Improve the Tax and Budget issues in the USA. Comment: The United States of America was founded as a federation of states. Why does the Federal Government duplicate what most of the states already do? How many Billions are wasted by this duplication? Raising taxes is not the solution, but reducing the government and removing duplication in the governments. Why does the Department of Interior and all the other departments have their own IT employees/janitors/etc. Each department should remove extra employees for the support services and work out of same buildings. Our federal employees should not be unionized or get paid beyond real world rates for the same job. Surf some of those government jobs on the usajobs.com. Now working in a war zone or overseas should merit additional funds for the employee's trouble and to make the job worth taking. Removing special software systems that the federal government drop the ball all the time. The IRS's and FEMA's software is a perfect example of tax waste. Being a victim of Ivan in Pittsburgh, FEMA told me that it would take 20 DAYS to determine if the Fax I sent was SENT!!!! 20 Days!!! That is unacceptable by anyone's standards. Pork spending is horrible and no additional items not directly related to a bill should be allowed to be hidden inside a Bill or Motion. Ever! This wastes BILLIONS each year for pet projects that generally fail or are kickbacks. The Government needs to stop throwing money at countries and the UN, who are wasting our money and stabbing us in the back. It would nice to turn the other cheek and hope that the money helps those in need, but it does not and why are constantly wasting our money this way? We are BUYING allies? It never works. Another issue that wastes many millions and pontentially BILLIONS of dollars is the way our Government/Military handles budgets for each area every year. They should not be wasting extra money to prevent loosing that money each year. That is the most Foolish thing I ever witnessed while working with the Navy. They spend their extra money on generally needless items to finish the budget. They should be rewarded for sending back the extra funds and not penalized as they are. If they constantly send back money and need more, it should be easier to get the extra funds with due process. Our Swiss Cheese Boards with Mexico is a real problem that is raising our cost of living due to them using our services without paying for the services. How many billions do they add to our Healthcare, loss funds sent away from the US, criminals who are sent to mexico and released, and automotive insurance costs? Why are we allowing drug cartels to operate without any boarder control? How billions do we spend on drug addicts who sent to Prisons or live on welfare that come over that Boarder? We have lost the drug war, since too many of our allies and our own people on the take from this drug lords. FEMA, Department of Education, SBA, and many other federal groups should be disbanded and eliminated. We have become so worried about race and minorities that Political Correctness has wasted BILLIONS. As a White Male from a lower middle-class could not get a SBA loan without selling my soul and filling out so many paperwork that it would not be worth my time. If I was a black female, then they will almost throw money at me, even if I don't have any experience. That is so wrong on so many levels, since we are ALL Americans. It should not matter if I black or white or asian or whatever when it comes down it. The Native Americans get to run over the rights of Americans for building their casinos and stealing land because they can from their federally funded countries over something that happened over a hundred years ago. Enough is enough, we are wasting millions and billions of the TAXPAYERS' money. This money is not the Federal Government, but the People's. Read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution now. The Federal Government has failed to live up to the documents that gives them a purpose: To work for us, not for you. People have lied and cheated to create the "Federal Reserve" and the IRS by dirty tricks and outright fraud. The US dollar takes a major hit in buying power every year the current system exists and our money is worth really nothing; since nothing backs it, but hopes and dreams. |
