Subject: Mortgage Interest Deduction/Rebate Comment: If Income taxes are abolished there will be no mortgage interest deduction. The equivalent could be a homewoner rebate of equal or greater value. This does two things. It maintains interst in home ownership and perpetuates the Real Estate Market. I hate to think of the result if you eliminate this part of the economy. |
