Subject: HR25/S25 Comment: The Fair Tax would take the politics out of taxation and return us to a more Constitutional solution. Tinkering with the current system gains nothing for the Nation. The current system started out as a Flat Tax. If you reccommend that option, how long would it take for the Congress to get us back in the same mess we are in now? Certainly not the 92 years it took the first time. They are too well practiced at this game. The American people know that only people pay taxes. Why keep fostering the illusion that corporations pay taxes? Let's do something that makes sense...for a change. |
