Subject: Income Tax Comment: The present tax code is a nightmare. I am in favor of a flat tax. It could be set up for 3 or 4 brackets. Example: no tax on income up to $25,000. 10% tax $25,001 to $50,000. 15% tax on all income over $50,000. The ONLY deduction that should be considered is interest on owner occupied residents. I also believe that the U.S. budget should be based on the income generated from taxes.....not that our taxes be based on what we need for a budget. FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY! |
