Subject: "fair" tax

Comment: this so called fair tax law seems to work great for low income families, as they get all they work for in their pay checks, but what about the tax write offs that they deserve? so now their children will have to pay taxes for buying supplies also? a 12 year old child who goes to office depot to buy a set of notebooks, some pens, and a bag of potato chips, totallying $20 excluding tax, will then have to pay close to $25 for what used to cost $21 with the old tax law. this measley $4 might not seem like a lot to an adult with a high paying job, but that's $4 out of their $2.50 a week allowance. is that fair to our children? think about it.
