Subject: Fair Hearing on Fairtax, Flat Tax, etc. Should be had.

Comment: The President distinctly outlined his vision for your recommendation - and you have failed miserably. You are more interested in "moving chairs around on the deck of a sinking ship" than you are in real reform because it is politically convenient.

Give alternate tax systems a fair hearing. The evidence exists to show that these systems would be good for both poor Americans and for the tax system at a whole. Hundreds of millions of dollars are wasted every year just to comply with the current tax code.

Make it simple - nothing does that easier, nor gives the government as quick a source of income as the idea of the Fairtax.

Know what you're talking about when you discuss HR 25 or S 25 instead of mutilating it with falsehoods and then pretending like that's what the bills really say.

This issue isn't going away - Americans are watching. We're tired of the shenanigans of both parties.

Good luck to anyone who stands in opposition to the real reform Americans want.
