Subject: Taxing employee benefits

Comment: That has got to be one of the stupidest ideas I have heard from the Feds in a long time. Talk about adding to the uninsured rolls - employees can barely afford their health coverage now, and thats with their contributions paid pre-tax! And, for the record, I am currently facing the AMT, as I just got married, and it is entirely possible I will get stuck in this unfair tax. At the very least the mininum on that should be raised, to keep middle class folks out of it, considering it was originally put in place for the wealthy. But to swap that for a benefit tax? Absolutely not.
