Subject: VAT/Sales Tax

Comment: I've saved money that had income tax withheld over the years (non-sheltered savings) for retirement; I did this so that I could count on all of this money. Am I going to be taxed a second time with a VAT/Sales Tax? This is unfair to those of us that have saved for our retirement. Will I receive a payment/credit equal to the VAT for every dollar I have in savings?
