Subject: FairTax Comment: I am an investor and business owner. The accounting burden placed upon me by the current Income Tax system is onerous. Further, the expense of income taxes distorts my investing and restricts my ability to create new jobs. The FairTax, when also eliminating all income taxation by Constitutional Amendment, is an efficient tax collection system. My retail business already collects state sales taxes with little overhead costs. Further, consumption based taxation incourages additional investment and, therefore, job creation. I am strongly in favor of the FairTax. |
