Subject: Income Tax

Comment: Every year I must file THREE income tax forms!!! I have to use the long form in order to claim my proper itimized deductions. I live in New Jersey and commute to work in New York City as many hundreds of thousands of people do. In addition to the federal tax form I must figure out my home state's income tax, NJ, and then figure out the income tax for the state in which I work, NY. Each form has it's own rules, which are different from each other. This is a task that can only be described as mind boggleing. Interstate matters are the responsibility of the Federal Government therefore eliminate state taxation except for only the state in which a person lives. By allowing only the state in which I live to tax me you will have eliminated 1/3 of my tax prepration time.
