Subject: National Sales Tax proposal Comment: I read the article where the advisory panel rejected the idea of a national sales tax, eliminating the income tax. I'm very disappointed in this administration's willingness to confront real changes in the status quo. I am saddened by the lack of substantial decisions that would bring about debate that would get the media involved in changes that conservatives feel we deserve to have and be heard. The chance to nominate a stand out conservative to the supreme court is another prime example of this administration letting us down. I will still vote republican because it is still better than the alternatives. I believe most of the conservative people I know and talk to feel the same way. We won an election and we are not getting our ideas put forth in the areana of ideas for debate. We are losing a great opportunity. Thank you, Ken Sauret |
