Subject: tax reform

Comment: if the gov,t is really interest in tax reform, the fairest tax is one that is placed on all purchased items excluding the essentials (food, clothing and shelter). It doesn't take a genius to figure out how this would down size the IRS and tax forms. The monies save there alone would increase the federal coffers by millions alone.
When the average tax payer has extra money, they usually do not save it, they spend it. Who will benefit from this, it's a no brainer, we all do.
