Subject: Why not the Fair Tax? Comment: I am totally disgusted with your so-called "Reform Commission." Americans are crying out for true reform and you have the "nerve" to continue with business as usual under the guise of reform. I only hope that the President has the foresight to listen to the American people, something which your group either can't or won't. We the American people are "up to our neck" with lobbyists and K Street lawyers who only want to pad their own pockets. And we are also "up to our neck" with bureaucracy which continually grows and costs more money while producing nothing of value to the country. Open your eyes to John Linder's Fair Tax and give true reform a chance. I feel certain that a major taxpayer revolt will insue if you don't and you will have no one to blame but yourselves and the self-serving politicians who hide behind your "Commission. |
