Subject: House Resolution 25 (the Fair Tax) Comment: To whom it may concern: I, like many Americans, desperately desire tax reform. My belief is that the current income tax system should be abolished, the Sixteenth Amendment repealed, and a consumption tax implemented. I have read much about the Fair Tax bill (HR 25), written by Rep. John Linder, and find no drawbacks. It would accomplish all of the goals President Bush has mandated.
