Subject: National Sales Tax Comment: The current system of Income Tax, Social Security Tax, and Medicare Tax is time consuming and overwhelmingly complex, and is not at all fair. A National Sales Tax would be quick and simple and totally fair. There is already a Fair Tax Bill (HR 25) in the House of Representatives and a similar bill is already in the Senate. Abolishing the Income Tax and the Social Security Tax and the Medicare Tax and replacing them with one National Sales Tax seems to me to be the perfect solution, and the current Fair Tax bill in both Houses of Congress is just what we need.
