Having said that lets recognize that your totally out of touch with the people on this subject. Rather than sit for months wasting our money to determine that you should reduce the amount of tax relief we should get on our mortgage payment, why not be constructive and read the Fair Tax Bill H.R. 25 first introduced in July 1999. Having lived in Europe for 30 years the VAT system doesn’t work. Our progressive income tax is also a failure. Tax personal consumption and you have a workable solution that would apply equally to every section of the population. Segments that don’t pay taxes prostitutes, drug dealers and other criminal elements would all contribute if we had a consumption tax. Rich people will get the same tax burden as everyone else, you buy it you pay tax on it. Please make a change for the better or we might have to start making changes at the ballot box. |
