Subject: Tax "Reform"

Comment: Congratulations to the entire Tax Reform Panel! This is indeed a wake-up call for the American voter. We had the brief illusion that a panel of independent, experienced, of highest esteem and respect could be effective, even in Washington. This is a lesson in real-world politics and I thank you for it. I now understand that K Street lobbyists are in control of everything that happens there. What has become apparent is that voters must become the most powerful lobby group. I am part of a group that is all over the internet and email organizing voters to create this lobby.

Thank you for eliminating the tax reform panel. That makes it more difficult for politicians to hide behind the panel’s skirt. These politicians must now accept personal responsibility for their lack of support for the FairTax Act.

The tax panel’s report is likely to destroy the professional reputation of the panel members and I wish to send my condolence. It is most obvious that the panel will not satisfy much, if any, of the President’s goals for the panel. How sad!

The FairTax Book does a fine job of making the case for elimination of the IRS, personal and business income taxes and implementation of a consumption tax. I’m sorry none of you were able to take the time to read this fine book or you would have had the ammunition to support the FairTax, and convince the rest of the panel to read it.

I must get on with organizing the Voter Lobby, all of whom will monetarily support ONLY those politicians who have expressed strong support for the FairTax, both in words and actions.

Thanks for listening and I wish you success on your next endeavor, as you have surely failed with this one.

American Voter,
