Subject: FAIRTAX Comment: I know I don't have to explain the FairTax to you. I would just like to reinforce the fact that this is the only possible route for this country to take in order to continue on the path of world leadership. I've been on the web sites of many newspapers from counties around the world. The Far East, New Zealand, throughtout Europe etc. They are targeting our economy in ways that only the FairTax can combat. Only the FairTax can meet the guidelines for Tax Reform that the President has charged you with. Only the FAIRTAX exceeds these guidelines in benefit to the country. True and Fair tax policy should include every single person who sets foot on American soil, not just current taxpayers. Our present tax code has been altered thousands of times. The results speak for themselves. If altering our present code was the answer there would be no need for this panel. We can no longer afford patches being placed on a sinking boat. We must replace the boat! There is no need to move from gound beef to chopped sirlion when we can have filet mignon. I therefore request your recomendation to the President be the FAIRTAX as it exists in the House as HR25 and the Senate as S25. We did not reach world leadership by copying other nations. We should look at our states who prosper with no state income tax, only sales tax. Let the socialist nations keep their VAT Tax or their Flattax, we must LEAD with the FAIRTAX.
