Subject: FairTax proposal Comment: I'd like to say I approve of the FairTax proposal (also mistakenly termed the 'consumption tax') to reform the USA tax code. I think it would simplify things and equalize things enough that there would be less arguments about who's getting to go through 'loopholes' for tax breaks. Also, as an actor, which means I'm an independent contractor, it would greatly simplify my life by requiring that I don't have to nitpick everything I earn when filling out my tax forms. |
