Comment: Whatever plan(s) you choose to recommend, please make sure it eliminates tax shelters for the rich. The level at which the rich are taxed is meaningless, is seems, since their wealth is funneled into shelters of various forms. True fairness cannot be achieved, no matter what the progressive rate structure, unless the tax burden is actually carried by those who would otherwise hire tax specialists and attorneys to prevent them from paying their true share.
