One way to help reduce government spending is to drastically reduce government workers pay and benefits.
The average total public sector pay and benefits is now 46% higher than private sector compensation.
Government spends 128% more per worker for health benefits than the private sector.
Government spends 162% more for retirement
benefits per worker than the private sector.
Something is terribly wrong when private citizens are forced to pay exorbitant taxes for the lavish pay and benefits of government employees
