Subject: Tax Reform?

Comment: SO far I have not seen REAL tax reform coming from the meetings. We are headed hard and fast to a disasterous tax burden based on the comments from the committee that I have read. I am oppossed to taxing individual employees for what they or their company pays in healthcare cost beyond the federal government spending limit of $11,000 per year. The increase will reduce what we can actually save into 401k's and IRA's and the like. If the proposed change is accepted, it would reduce my ability to save for the future, reduce the quality of the healthcare plan and literally cost my family hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of a life time. As an example, the company pays around $14,500 in healthcare costs per employee and my family pays around $200.00 per month in addition to that. I add the maximum I can to the 401k and my take home currently stands at $1,067.00 per pay period. Yes, you read that right. Ain't much, is it? This is for a family of four. Their answer will cripple my ability to continue saving if implemented by INCREASING my tax burden. This is their idea of TAX REFORM?!?!? Here's an idea - cut out the pork, reduce spending, and help people save their more of their money. But who am I anyway? I am just some poor tax payer trying to get by.
