Subject: Fair Tax Comment: I would like to see something like the FAIRTAX as a means of taxation to raise taxes for the operation of the government. The Fair TAX eliminates the IRS the Alternative minimum Tax as well as estate taxes and replaces them with a progressive sales tax. Such a sales tax fairly taxes everyone in the society inclunding the criminal elements in the undergeround economy. I would encourage the panel to consider adopting the FAIRTAX as our nation tax system for greater simplicity and compliance. |
