Subject: Tax Reform

Comment: Let's go with the National Sales Tax - no income tax. A flat income tax seems to be no better than what we have since the problem is not the tax rate but in trying to determine what is income. A National Sales Tax eliminates the problem of trying to determine income since you are only taxed on what you spend and what you spend can be easily determined and taxed at the point of sale. This would also eliminate billions of hours of accountant labor which could be put to better use increasing the GNP.
