Subject: mortgage interest deduction Comment: Please don't mess with this deduction. My wife and I bought our home before the real estate bubble, but even a few years ago Hawaii mortgages were large. We refinanced two years ago, and will be paying large interest annually for at least 8 more years for a 1,600 sq foot home. How can a nation-wide cut in this deduction be fair to Hawaii?? |
