Subject: Fed Tax Reform re: Mortg. Interest Comment: Please, Please, Please do not do this to Americans. Especially, New Yorkers. Do not take away our ability to claim our mortgage interest. For the average family, such as mine, we can hardly make it as it is. Two small children and bills to pay, please do not take this benefit from us. Why own a house now if you can't claim anything. We're paying interest on a loan that has to be paid - how else can most purchase a home? Mostly through loans - we need to borrow. Therefore, we must pay interest. Why should we be penalized for doing so. We're helping the economy. Please think twice before doing this to us. We're already trying to survive the best we can here. Thank so much for listening.
