Comment: I am not an economist by any means, and have not studied all the pros and
cons, but I still like the idea of a simple national sales tax instead of
an income tax.

This would allow the government to encourage savings at the same time. The
less you spend or do more barging hunting the less tax paid. If your one of
those persons who have to be the first to have the newest and best, then you
pay more taxes.

The government could get feedback on which items to exempt from the tax
like; medicine, or groceries for example. Items like bakery, restaurants,
etc. should be taxed since they are not necessity items like regular
groceries.
