Subject: FairTax Bill HR 25/S25

Comment: Dear Tax Panel Members,

Please consider the needs of the poor, sick, elderly and other less fortunate people in our society who do not have the ability or the means to formally address your panel when making your recommendations.

As the founder of a social service agency that struggles to prevent families and individuals from becoming homeless, I know the pain these people endure. Removing the federal tax burden from these people would go a long way to ease their life burden. For example,
helping a family fill out a "prebate" form under the FairTax Bill HR25/S25 would be something any volunteer could handle. That can not be said for the tax credits currently available in our current tax system. I find great frustration with many government
programs that place such a heavy burden on those who need help the most and have
little ability to jump through the hoops to need to secure the assistance.

First do no harm and protect our most vulnerable citizens by supporting the FairTax Bill HR.25/S.25 as your final tax plan recomendation

Sincerely,
Marilyn Rickert
