Subject: tax on health benefits Comment: How can you even consider taxing a health benefit that the employee already has to pay all or a large portion of? Health costs already decrease the take home pay considerably. I'm already losing $5,300.00 a year from my take home pay in order to have health coverage. The Bush tax cuts didn't help me, I received no benefit at all. Now I'll be paying very large, inflated heating costs due to the greed of Bush and his friends and it costs me $14.00 just to put in 5 gal of gas. That is only an eighth of a tank! Not everybody lives in a large city with bus or subway service. Now you want to tax me on my health insurance?! If the Bush administration and the Congress go along with this may you all rot in you know where! |
