Subject: Fair Tax Comment: Dear Panel, I have been reading up on the "Fair Tax." I believe this system should be implemented as soon as possible. To fully realize the Fair Tax system the IRS needs to be abolished as well. How can one go wrong taking an outdated, over complicated system like the IRS with it's 55,000 pages of documents out, and replacing it with a system that taxes on consumption rather than production? Taxing production penalizes ones efforts - taxing consumption does not. Implementing the Fair Tax system would create a jauggernaut of jobs for the U.S. both from jobs sent overseas returning to our soil as well as new foreign investment.
