Eliminating or weakening incentives for home ownership will weaken the very infrastructure of our country. Many, many other industries are supported by home ownership. When you remove incentives for home ownership, you will create a ripple effect that will weaken other industries, such as home improvement companies. All you have to do is turn on the television to see the huge interest Americans have in their homes. Don't take away the incentive to own a home. |
