Subject: Fair Tax Comment: The Panel has failed to even address the charge under which it was formed. The recommendations that have been made public thus far only increase taxes and compliance costs. The Panel should resign en masse, and return to whatever occupations they were engaged in before it was formed. All involved with "tax reform" should become familiar with H R 25 and S 25, the Fair Tax bill. This is the only logical and comprehensive measure on the table that, in fact, addresses the objectives that President Bush presented to the Advisory Panel, and more. |
