Subject: Fair Tax Comment: The IRS is an intrusive agency that is entirely inappropriate for a free society. Irrespective of the good intentions of honest government employees, authority of the sort exercised by the IRS is certain to be abused. The current tax system is not only tyrannical, but unfair and inefficient. Millions of otherwise hardworking and honest people participate in a gigantic underground economy that escapes taxation. Many affluent people exploit loopholes in the system to avoid paying what reasonable people wold assume to be their fair share. The current system is a disgusting charade. Fix it! |
