Subject: Tax Reform Please Comment: It looks like this commission has done very little to reform taxes. When it costs $500M to prepare for taxes annually, there has to be a better way to decrease the tax burden on all Americans. One way is to reduce the size of government, especially by reducing discressionary spending and eliminating the government programs not explicitly in the Constitution. The second way is to eliminate the income tax and change to a consumption tax, as introduced in Rep. John Linder's HR 25 bill - The Fair Tax Bill. |
