Subject: Conclusions

Comment: It is sad that the conclusions of the body were to increase taxes and reform nothing. We no longer have leaders but follower of lobbyists and special interests. I have reviewed the Fair Tax plan (www.fairtax.org/) and any faults are few and not insurmontable. There is one major problem with it; it will keep politicians from manipulating it for their own selfish endeavors. This is something that this panel cannot afford to have happen. There are many forces against the Fair Tax (lobbyists, many politician, etc.) and they are all against allowing the people to take more control of how their hard earned money is collected and used.

The complexity of a national retail sales tax pales in comparison to our current, massive tax code. So, to conclude that the Fair Tax is too complex is laughable. I fully endorse the Fair Tax plan and will lend my support and vote to those politicians who are willing to work for its implementation.
