Subject: Tax reform Comment: I can not believe that you would not even consider a national sales tax to replace the current tax system not to mention the bulk of the IRS. Just what we need.. more blotted additions to the 6 million + words in an already broken tax code, more tax breaks for those who can afford expensive tax consultants/lawyers, more bureaucrats that can't answer even sample tax questions, and continuing to allow for writeoff everything for the selected few. You have, in many of our minds out here in the Great Plains, once more sold the working man down the drain with no regrets on your part. Here was a chance to get the system back to some sort of sanity and equality. You did not even do a good job of window dressing on this one. In other words you BLEW IT!!! Why we keep sending you same dunderheads to Washington is beyond my understanding. |
