Subject: Fair Tax Comment: Dear Panel, You have an historic opportunity to greatlty strengthen our republic for generations to come, while furthering the constitiional guarantees of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, along with our forefathers belief that all men are created equal and should be treated as such. I am 57 years old, a father of 4, a grandfather to 4 and a small business owner. In my life time, the Fair Tax plan and proposal does more to further and secure these fundamental princilples for the citizens of this great nation than any tax proposal, social program or other action by our government that I've ever seen. It's fairness, it's logic, it's simplicity, it's ease of aplication and introduction, along with the tremendous positive impact it would have on the capital markets of our economy, make it a "no brainer." I strongly urge you to recommend the Fair Tax Proposal to President Bush as the best solution for reforming the arcain, punitive, confiscatory and insanely complicated tax system and code with which we all currently have to cope.
