Comment: Dear Panel Members: I am writing to urge your diligent study and eventual recommendation of the FairTax (HR 25, S 25). The FairTax has already been researched to the tune of over $20 million. I have no doubt that the members of the panel all have knowledge of what the bill proposes. I just hope that you have a clear understanding as to what the American people want and deserve. Studies have shown that the more the public knows about the FairTax, the more they like it. The problem is finding those with the will in DC to eventually fight the "K Street" crowd. But it is a fight that is noble, and just, and must be fought.
