Subject: Automatic Tax Comment: Dear Tax Panel, Though radical the Automatic Tax Proposal found at www.AutomaticTax.com appears to be uniquely virtious in terms of fairness, ease of enforcement, drag on economic activity, and reducing the coersive and intrusive effects of government intervention in private affairs. To do justice to your mandate the proposal should not be ignored merely because it is unusual. While the federal government may not compel state and local governments to abandon their tax regimes to participate in such a system, it could make their participation sufficiently attractive to encourage their participation.
