Subject: National Sales Tax Comment: IF congress would repeal the 16th amendment, then I would favor the national sales tax. In watching the meeting, it was said this system was too difficult. I find it hard to believe any system could be more difficult or "user unfriendly" than the current one. The difficulty I believe congress is concerned about is the inability to favor certain groups and the difficulty in hiding how much our government is costing us. |
