Subject: Fundamental Tax reform Comment: I am a Republican voter, for the last 20 years I have been dreaming of the day that we controlled the house, Senate, and White house. Now that we do you are not doing anything but tinkering with the current tax system we already have. With great ideas like the fairtax and the flattax, your panel is talking about changing a few things within the current code. I make this pledge, if major reform is not attempted i will sit out the 2008 elections. If enough of us do that, we will get what everybody wants Hillary in 08. You people in the white had better not leave the base that got you elected hanging out to dry. The current tax code is a sham and it needs to be changed, and if it is not changed yall will be proving that yall are a bunch of blow hards that tells us what we want to hear and then when you get elected you try to make friends with democrats. |
