Subject: FAIRTAX Comment: I hope the panel seriously considers FAIRTAX as the best tax reform proposal. First, the legislation is already written and submitted to both houses of Congress. Second, the reposal has already undergone significant economic studies. Third, it not only empowers individuals and businesses to save and invest more, but it also gives the federal government a sustainable revenue source for Social Security and Medicare. |
