Subject: Fair Tax Comment: Dear Sirs: I have looked at the Fair Tax proposal HR25 and SR25 put before congress by Representative John Linder of Georgia. As far as I am concerned this is the most important piece of legislation to come before congress in my 67 years on this planet. It is well thought out, makes very good sense, would help everyone in this country to prosper and would eliminate the terrible mistake which we allowed when we accepted the 16th amendment the income tax in 1913. Please look with favor upon this legislation and let us bring it before the people's forum our congress. As you may know there is a grass roots movement in support of this idea, and I am looking forward to hearing the the commission has placed the Fair Tax before the congress with its recomendation.
