Subject: retirement taxes

Comment: Too many retirees in this country are feeling the pressure of working essentially most of their lives and look forward to enjoying the golden years. The suspected golden years are now a struggle to survive years. A decisions has to be made regarding purchasing the necessary medications or food. Consequently, since there are not enough retirement dollars, both areas are deficient. The income from retirement and social security and a tax refund are considered taxable incomes; although you have been taxed all of your life. This is an insult and totally unfair. There is no reward for getting old; only frustration and bitterness. Tax laws are written for the rich and not the masses. This is a reckless disregard for the elderly and poor people that are being taxed to unfairly. I recall that is one of the reason we had the Revoluntary War, taxization with representation, who represents the eldrly and poor. How soon do we forget the principles under which the county was founded.
