Subject: Do Not Discriminate Against Comment: Your suggestions to limit tax deductions are biased against residents of the nation's large cities. Our personal budgets will be destroyed by your mortgage deductions limitations. Our employers will not be able to provide decent health insurance for their employees with your premium deduction limitations. And every single state in the nation that provides decent municipal services (notably NOT the "red" states) will be crushed by your plan to do away with or severely limit residents' ability to include state & local taxes in their personal tax deductions. Do you not care about America? President Bush & you toadies clearly only care about people who look & live like you. I am certain that churches will still have their tax exemptions, even though they continue to preach political cant from their pulpits. I am certain that stock traders will continue to pay taxes at lower rates than ever before. And I am more than certain that no fair tax reform will ever come out of this administration. You make me ashamed of my country. |
